Method & Schools

The method of education, accredited by the Cervantes Institute, is based on motivation, communication and practical experience. The classes consist of a maximun of 6-8 students of the same level. The schools guarantee that their facilities are adequate to the teaching of a language and have classrooms equipped with all the necessary tools for learning: support material, didactic material and IT equipment. Other quality services offered by our schools are access to libraries, to student areas, administrative assistance regarding all aspects of the course, etc. Quality in the areas of cleanliness, comfort and accessibility of the facilities is also guaranteed. Our Spanish Language Centres offer different types of courses all year round, both for youngsters and adults.


Schools and Levels

SCHOOLS & LEVELS

To assure the best results for you and your learning experience, every student will be assigned to a suitable nivel and class. As soon as you arrive to the school ,you will take a test on reading, listening, speaking and writing skills to help us determine your level. For general Spanish courses, the Schools propose six levels of education following the indications of the Common European Framework of Reference.

The spanish schools specialized in teaching Spanish as a second foreign language have the main aim of to offer students a quality education using an effective method with the basic purpose of suiting the student’s needs. The classes are combined with extracurricular activities, so learning will be significant and useful and at the same time the student will save time in the process of learning Spanish language. The schools should guarantee that their facilities are adequate to the teaching of a language and have classrooms equipped with all the necessary tools for learning: support material, didactic material and equipment.

In our language school we believe that the international atmosphere of the classrooms will improve the learning process and we will encourage the use of the Spanish language as the communication language between students from different nationalities. In the schools , everybody will be able to learn Spanish as well as make friends, know the Spanish culture and have a good time.

A1 SPANISH LEVEL:

With the first level of education the learner can:

• Understand and use familiar everyday expressions and very basic phrases that satisfy immediate needs.
• Introduce him / herself and others and ask and answer questions about personal details such as where he/she lives, people he/she knows and things he/she has got.
• Interact in a simple way provided the other person speaks slowly and clearly and is able to help.

B1 SPANISH LEVEL:

With the third level of education the learner can:

• Understand the main points of clear standard input on familiar matters regularly encountered at work, school, leisure, etc.
• Deal with most situations likely to arise whilst travelling in an area where the language is spoken.
• Produce simple connected texts on topics which are familiar or of personal interest.
• Describe experiences and events, dreams, hopes and ambitions and briefly give reasons and explanations for opinions and plans.

C1 SPANISH LEVEL:

With the fifth level of education the learner can:

• Understand a wide range of demanding, longer texts, and recognize implicit meaning.
• Express him / herself fluently and spontaneously without much obvious searching for expressions.
• Use language flexibly and effectively for social, academic and professional purposes.
• Produce clear, well-structured, detailed text on complex subjects, showing controlled use of organizational patterns, connectors and cohesive devices.

 

 

A2 SPANISH LEVEL:

With the second level of education the learner can:

• Understand sentences and frequently used expressions related to areas of most immediate relevance (e.g. very basic personal and family information, shopping, local geography, employment).
• Communicate in simple and routine tasks requiring a simple and direct exchange of information on familiar and everyday matters.
• Describe in simple terms aspects of his/her background, immediate environment and matters of immediate need.

B2 SPANISH LEVEL:

With the fourth level of education the learner can:

• Understand the main ideas of complex texts on both concrete and abstract topics, including technical discussions on his/her field of specialization.
• Interact with a degree of fluency and spontaneity with native speakers so that communication isn’t interrupted by any of the speakers.
• Produce clear, detailed texts on a wide range of subjects and give a viewpoint on a topical issue giving the advantages and disadvantages of each choice.

C2 SPANISH LEVEL:

With the sixth level of education the learner can:

• Understand with ease most of the things he hears or reads.
• Summaries information from different spoken and written sources, reconstructing arguments and accounts in a coherent presentation.
• Express him / herself spontaneously, very fluently and precisely, differentiating slight differences of meaning even in the most complex situations.
